Abstract: This study reports a case of uterine prolapse in a doe. The animal was brought to the S.A. Quadery Teaching Veterinary Hospital, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Khulshi, Chittagong, with complaint of evisceration of the uterus. The doe was weak and on lateral recumbency. Physical examination revealed rough hair coat, everted uterus with the external OS of the cervix extruding as a small pinkish mass with cotyledon. The everted organ was carefully assessed and gross debris removed by washing with anticeptic solution. Epidural anesthesia was done. The prolapsed uterus was replaced and retention suture was placed on the vulva to prevent recurrence. In spite of preventive measure prolapse recurred again. After failure of correction due to recurrent prolapsed and loss of vitality of uterine tissue doe was referred to surgery unit for hysterectomy. After two weeks the owner of the patient was communicated and had been informed that the doe recovering. Uterine prolapsed is one of the important causes of infertility in doe, therefore proper measures should be undertaken to prevent it.
