Abstract: The study was carried out at Government Goat Farm, Hathazari, Chittagong, to explore knowledge about the goat management, breeding, genetics and husbandry practices. Data were collected through direct interviewing method using pre-structured questionnaire. There were about 158 goats which were reared in semi-intensive system. This goat farm maintains good management, breeding and husbandry practices. Main feed item of goats are concentrate, green grass, tree leaves and water source is deep tube well. Vaccination is performed against PPR disease. Deworming is done regularly. Natural insemination is done by buck. According to modern bio-security system, this farm having good hygiene and moderately maintains bio-security
