dc.description.abstract | The experiment was done to monitor the comparative study on the reproductive and productive performance of different dairy cows under farm condition. For achieving this goal 100 dairy cows were selected from different place of Chandpur district. The data collected from different place such as Bishnudi , Baburhat , Notun bazaar, Puran bazaar, Mothkhola area of Chandpur sadar. The reproductive patterns and production parameters of about 100 cows of different breeds such as Local Descriptive, Local x Shahiwal, Local x Holstein Friesian, Holstein Friesian x Shahiwal were investigated and evaluated for reproductive and productive performance. Small to large range of variations in the value of other reproductive parameters were observed to exit among the breeds. The Holstein Friesian x Shahiwal crosses reproductive and productive performances are superior to other crosses. At present study it may be concluded that Friesian crosses show better performance to other dairy cows. | en_US |
