dc.description.abstract | This study was carried out at Upazilla Veterinary Hospital, Jamalpur Sadar, Jamalpur District, during the period was 2 months, from 7th December, 2008 to 16th February, 2009, to find out the success of different methods in urolithiasis treatment. For this purpose there were 10 cases of urolithiasis handled in 4 different methods. These were post scrotal urethrotomy, removal of urethra and setting of catheter, palpation and flashing technique and cystorrhaphy method. In all cases local epidural anesthesia were applied into the sacro-coccygeal junction. The success of uroliothiasis treatment in post scrotal urethrotomy method was 50%, in the removal of urethra and setting of catheter method 0%, palpation and flashing method 33% and cystorrhaphy method 50%. In conclusion, post scrotal urethrotomy method and cystorrhaphy method were proved effective in the treatment of urolithiasis. | en_US |
