Abstract: The major diseases and disorders that affect the livestock in Bangladesh are mastitis, food and mouth disease, paste des petits ruminents, bovine ephemeral fever, lumpy skin disease, bovine viral diarrhea, repeat breeder syndrome, anoestrus and umbilical hernia. The present study was conducted to determine the prevalence of diseases and disorder in domestic animal at Upazila veterinary hospital, Gabtoli district Bogura during the period from 13th October 2019 to 13th December 2019. A total of 367 clinical cases were recorded during Upazila Veterinary Hospital (UVH) placement. Each clinical case was diagnosed on the basis of physical examination, clinical examination, and in some cases microscopic examination (using laboratory technique) as well.The overall percentages patients were cattle (44.14%) followed by goat (32.97%) poultry (21.25%) and other animals like buffalo The clinical cases were categorized into three different categories based on treatment required such as medicinal, gynaco-obstetrical and surgical. Among the clinical cases, highest percentage was found for medicinal cases (40.4%). In total 17 diseases or disorders were recorded in 135 affected ruminants brought to the Veterinary Hospital for treatment purposes during the study period. The highest prevalence of disease was digestive disorder (14.07%),followed by lumpy skin disease (11.85%) and enteritis (10.37%) respectively. It may concluded that a number of disease with various percentage have been occurring at Upazila Veterinary hospital in Gabtoli, Bogura and this report may help to develop disease control strategies in the study area. The current investigation revealed newly prevalence of lumpy skin disease in addition to other endemic diseases in Gabtoli Upazila, Bogura district,Bangladesh.
