dc.description.abstract | Rahman S., 2009. Study on dystocia in case of goat.The study was conducted from 30th October to 15th December,2009 at Upazila Vetrinary Hospital Sunamgaonj and SAQTVH, Chittagong.The study was carried out to measure the incidence of pregnant goat with dystocia coming at the veterinary hospitals of Sunamgonj and ctg.The close observation of the cases regarding collection of history of animals and correction of the cases was also done.In the first phase of the study,dystocial cases were selected out of total 147 cases from history and all informations were collected from the hospital then owner.The correction of the cases was performed, 2 were by manually and the last one was by caesarean section.The results of the present study indicates that the incidence of dystocia was 2.04 out of totl cases2.29% in Sunamgonj and 1.67% in Chittagong. The causes of the 3 dystocial cases were downward deviation of head and oversize of fetus.The first two cases were found in Sunamgonj and the last one was in ctg | en_US |
