dc.description.abstractThe experiment was conducted at Rangpur Govt. Poultry farm and the data was collected from the records with the objective of producing chicken for village poultry production. The exotic chicken breed was the RIR as hen, whereas the indigenous chicken breed was the Naked neck (NN) used as cock to produce a new genotype of chicken F1(RIRX NN). Initial no. of birds in different weeks was 97, 74 and 33 respectively at 1st week, 3rd week and 10 weeks and the survivability was determined accordingly. The weekly average survivability and feed intake was 100, 98.97, 100, 100, 98.64, 97.29, 97.29, 95.95, 95.95, 100, 100, 94 and 807.286, 1435.14, 1493.71, 1850, 1839.29, 2096.43, 2642.86, 3550, 3278.57, 1838.5, 2310, 2290 and 2170 gm respectively. The survivability was found highest (100%) at 1st, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, and 12th weeks. Average survivability upto 13 weeks 98.30en_US
