Abstract: The study was conducted at Kazi Farms Group with a view to assess the production performance of the newly introduced SASSO colour commercial broiler under environmental control house over the 35 days of growth period. A total of 22295 day-old chicks were reared under one shed. The feeding system was adlibitum basis. Temperature, humidity and ventilation was controlled automatically within the environmentally controlled shed. Average feed intake (FI), average live weight gain (LWT), feed conversion ratio, health status and mortality were recorded on a daily basis. The trends of the production performance parameters showed that average body weight gain was 838 gram within 35 days with an average feed conversion ratio of 2.03. Mortality rate was 3.71% .All the values were slightly below the company standard. It is concluded that SASSO has overall good performance that can fulfill the customer’s demand.
