dc.description.abstractcoccidiosis was higher in season-II. Contrary to published goat in growing kids in season-I,season-II,season-III were 14.7%,40.6%,19.4%.There was higher mortality in season-II. PPR and bronchopneumonia found higher Clinical records of natural infections of Peste des petits ruminants (PPR), Bronchopneumonia, Diarrhoea and Coccidiosis among goats brought for treatment at Cox`s Bazar Sadar Veterinary Hospital in Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh were scrutinized for one year (September, 2008 to August 2009) in order to determine disease trends and modulating effects of rainfall, relative humidity and mean daily air temperature on disease occurrence. Of the 1086 cases, male and female goats were accounted 46.72% and 46.87% due to PPR, 20.56% and 15.63% due to pneumonia, 14.02% and 20.83% due to diarrhoea, 6.54% and 5.2% due to coccidiosis respectively, indicating a significantly lower treatment figure for PPR (p<0.05).The mortality rate of the in season-III than other seasons whereas diarrhoea was higher in season-I and reports; PPR remained the most common diseases encountered in Black BengalCox’s Bazar district.en_US
